Day 365: Portland

Wow - how is it Day 365?? To celebrate the end of my project, Tim and I took a quick trip to Portland. We visited the zoo, had dinner, and walked around downtown as the sun set.

I also decided to post this last photo straight out of the camera, which I haven't done in a very long time.

I am in love with this quote. And thanks to Wikipedia, I can tell you that her name is Karen Blixen, not Blixe. Silly iced tea bottle.

Day 361: Hike

Hendricks Park is huge, absolutely gorgeous, and just a few blocks from our house. We went there for a light walk and ended up hiking about 300 feet up in elevation.

I'm really in the home stretch now!

Day 359: Herbs II

I am obsessed with the progress of my little herb garden. So far five out of the six herbs I planted are sprouting and doing fantastic!

Day 357: Potter

On a whim, Tim and I decided to go to the opening night of Harry Potter. Not the midnight show...the 3am show. We figured since we've been staying up late most nights anyway, we may as well. It was everything I wanted it to be - go see it (and bring tissues).
