Day 279: Garden II
We have these beautiful, giant dandelions in the back garden. I remember being pretty upset as a child when I learned that dandelions were considered weeds.
Day 278: Garden
Last time I was here, everything was brown and bare. It's nice to see so much green.
Day 276: Bay
I woke up early on Sunday and got some photos of the beautiful foggy bay outside my window. After a great flight to Kansas City, I finally made it home.
Day 275: Cargo
Saturday was a hell of a day, and I had to do it twice. Here is a shot from my seat on the C-5 cargo plane that took me to California. You can read about my adventures here.
After making it to San Francisco, I discovered that Tim had booked me a beautiful room with a view of the bay.
Day 274: Goodbye
We spent my last night in Okinawa at American Village, looking at the ocean and the ferris wheel and eating frozen yogurt.

Day 273: Sunset VIII
Tim and I went to the 100 Yen Store tonight (exactly like the Dollar Store, but filled with delightful Japanese stuff) to use up our collection of yen coins. On the drive home, I had to try and get one last sunset shot on my iPhone.
Day 272: Books II
Of all the books we own, these are the ones we kept out after packing up the apartment. I'm not sure what this says about us.

Day 270: Sunabe
Stopped by the seawall today to pick up Tim's scuba certification. We took a short walk and I got to snap some photos. Such a cute place.
Day 268: Beach
Our last beach day in Okinawa was spent at Renaissance Hotel. It was a great day - I will miss these beaches.

Day 266: Self-Portrait II
Tim and I had a movie date tonight, so I put on one of my favorite outfits (actually, one of my only outfits since we've started packing, but still one of my favorites). I even attempted a hairdo, which never happens.

Day 265: Chain
I've noticed I'm more focused lately when I go on a photo walk. Instead of snapping away at everything I see (like I usually do), I have been choosing my subjects more carefully. I think this results in better shots, as well as fewer crap shots to wade through to find "the one."

Day 254: Starfish
Tim had his first scuba certification class today at the Sunabe seawall, so I decided to tag along to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful day. I had lots of time to write in my journal, read, look at the ocean, and as always, take a ridiculous number of photos. While I was hanging out at the ocean, the tide went out and I got to hop around the tide pools and play with starfish. I got majorly sunburned, but it was an awesome day.

Day 253: Sun
I was getting annoyed today that all my flower shots were looking too similar and boring, so I tried putting the sun behind one. I didn't quite nail it (it was a little windy), but it's pretty anyway.
