Day 312: Package

After yesterday's marathon of catching up on posts, I had nothing interesting to shoot today. This is the print on a package Tim got from Japan.

Day 311: Unpacking

Unpacking. Sucks.

Day 310: Cathedral

On our last day in New Orleans, we walked around the French Quarter, ate beignets at Cafe du Monde, and saw the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square.

Day 309: Oaks

On Friday we visited the Audubon Zoo and Oak Alley Plantation. The 300-year-old live oaks were absolutely beautiful. We tasted mint juleps as we walked around the grounds where they filmed Interview with the Vampire.

Day 308: Teeth

On our first day in New Orleans we hit up the Aquarium of the Americas. Love those sharks!

Day 307: Cruising IV

Our last night on the cruise, we all had one last frozen drink on the deck.

Day 306: Monkey

No big deal, we just made friends with a squirrel monkey in Cozumel. BEST DAY EVER.

Day 305: Cruising III

This was our view of the Gulf of Mexico from our favorite lounging spot. Just beautiful. (It's even better with a piña colada.)

Day 304: Cruising II

This is what I look like after winning $60 at the roulette table on formal night!

Day 303: Cruising

On our first day on the boat, we all enjoyed some frozen drinks while cruising down the Mississippi.

Day 302: Po'boy

First day of vacation! We woke up super early and 11 hours later we were in Metairie, Louisiana. For dinner I had a shrimp po'boy, the first of many on this trip.

Day 301: Snickelfritz IV

Got to hang out with Professor Snickelfritz in Springfield before heading down to New Orleans. Vacation!

One of the famous Broadway Village geese.

Day 299: Journal II

Vacation packing lists are the best packing lists!

Day 298: Trevor VIII

That face!!

Day 297: Elephants

Tim got this shirt in Thailand, and it cracks me up. I think a little something was lost in the translation.

Day 296: Graduate

Saturday was spent in Jefferson City celebrating the graduation of two of Tim's cousins, and the anniversary of his aunt and uncle. It was a great party, complete with trivia games - this is Tim's cousin Jeanne, the recent LU graduate, answering some questions about her alma mater.

Day 295: Will

Even though it's blurry, I love this shot of my in-laws' sweet puppy, Will. He is so cute and snuggly, and it's hard for him to stay still long enough to take a good picture.

Day 294: Regency

The awesomely horrendous curtains in a certain downtown Columbia hotel.

Day 293: Glasses

My feeble attempt at a flattering self-portrait in a dark car (just an excuse to show off my new glasses).

Day 292: Laundry

I took this photo to commemorate for Tim the fact that I not only took the towels out of the dryer, but folded them too. This never happens.

Day 291: Rose II

Another shot of Mom's pretty Mother's Day roses.

Day 290: Rose

Happy Mother's Day!

Day 289: Purple II

Was feeling well enough today to venture into the garden to take some photos. I hate being sick.

Day 288: Opal VIII

I was so sick all day today I'm surprised I managed to take a photo at all. So here's a too-dark iPhone shot of my favorite Opal face.

Day 287: Pledge

"We need more Lemon Pledge."

Day 286: Cake

Mom made Tim a welcome home cake, which was delicious.

Day 285: Purple

Today we got started on our CoMo Bucket List and went for a hike in Rock Bridge State Park. Tim had never been to see the Devil's Icebox before.

Day 284: Sky

This was the view from our hotel room in Ft. Leonard Wood, where Tim filled out his paperwork to leave the Marine Corps. Let me say that one more time. Tim filled out his paperwork to leave the Marine Corps. (!!!)

Day 283: Dinner V

Tim's first few nights back in the states were spent in Springfield and St. Robert, getting processed out of the Marine Corps. So I took him out for dinner at one of St. Robert's top rated restaurants - Cracker Barrel (seriously, I looked on TripAdvisor). Welcome home to rural Missouri.

Day 282: Feet

Not quite as mesmerizing as my Okinawa pedicures, but I felt like dressing up my feet to go pick up Tim at the airport.

Day 281: Green

This past week has been a whirlwind - lots of days where I barely managed to snap a quick photo on the iPhone.
