Day 213: Pub

Incidentally, a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Cincinnati is to enjoy 10 oz. Scottish beers and fried pickles at an English pub.

Day 212: Bonobos!

Saturday Amanda took us to the Cincinnati Zoo, where they have bonobo chimps. I have been obsessed with bonobos since my anthropology classes in college. I was excited enough, but then we saw two babies playing together and I about lost it. Megan said that as I was taking these photos, I was just grinning like an idiot behind my camera. That sounds about right.

Day 211: Vandalia

If you find yourself on a road trip to Cincinnati, and you decide you want to pick up some fancy beer for your hostess, might I recommend not stopping in Vandalia, IL. They don't have any.

Day 210: Light II

There are several spots on my daily drive that I always want to stop and photograph, but I never do. Today I actually pulled over and shot for a bit at one of those spots. Hopefully I'll start doing this more.

Day 209: Park

Oh my, what a beautiful day today. I love the smell of those February days when the temperature gets up in the 60s. I had to go to the park and take a walk.

Day 208: Moon II

Pretty sky tonight as the moon rose. And was it just me, or did I smell a faint hint of spring?

Day 207: Tea

On Monday, I found myself needing some me time. I guess for me that means buying socks at Target and then a cup of tea at Starbucks. Whatever works.

Day 206: Opal V

This is my favorite Opal face - she hears something cool going on, but she doesn't want to get up and investigate because she's too comfortable.

Day 205: Snickelfritz III

Professor Eleanor Snickelfritz strikes a pose once again. This cat knows how to smize.

Day 204: Bottles

Some bottles of wine/champagne I've been holding onto for later.
