Day 227: True/False III

For the last day of True/False, we decided we needed some lunchtime bloody marys. We also saw Armadillo, At the Edge of Russia, and Project Nim. Great weekend.

Day 226: True/False II

Day Two of our True/False weekend was mostly spent at the Blue Note, with a couple other venues sprinkled in. We saw KNUCKLE, Bobby Fischer Against the World, The Burger and the King, and Page One, then attended Gimme Truth, which was hilarious. Another awesome day at my first film festival.

Day 225: True/False

Megan and I kicked off our True/False weekend on Friday evening by watching the rainy March March parade through downtown. There were fire spinners, which is cool, and people in masks, which is not cool. Then we got to watch Resurrect Dead and Troll Hunter, which were two of my favorite films of the weekend.

Day 223: Murry's

I think I have officially hit all of my favorite restaurants on this trip home - Flat Branch, Osaka, Shakespeare's, and last night, Murry's. Yum!

Day 220: Days

Today was just awesome. The adorable Day family let me follow them around the quad with my camera just capturing the magic. I'm guessing this one won't end up hanging over the fireplace, but it's one of my favorites. Thanks, guys! :)

Day 184: ARC

Day 170: Coloring

Saturday night was spent on Megan's couch coloring and doing a puzzle. We know how to party.

Day 169: Tree V

Got this shot in the Walgreens parking lot, lit by a streetlight just as it was starting to snow.

Day 146: Gerbes

I've been wanting to get a photo of the Christmas lights in the Gerbes parking lot, but I was too cold and lazy to get out of my car. I need to work on this.

Day 61: Downtown

For some reason, I am still very nervous/anxious about taking photos when there are a lot of people around. There were several shots today I wanted to take, but didn't because I felt silly. I need to get over that!

Day 57: Bench

Spent some more time at Shelter Gardens this afternoon. I could take pictures there for hours.

Day 54: Columns

Had a great afternoon taking pictures around my alma mater. I also learned that I should never plan to go to the gym after two hours of walking around with a giant camera - that is a workout in itself.

Day 53: Lily II

I spent some time at Shelter Gardens this afternoon. Absolutely beautiful place for photography. I may have to go back tomorrow!

Day 48: Trail

I took my Rebel to Rock Bridge State Park this afternoon for a little hike. I have lived here for many years, but I had never been to see the Devil's Icebox. So I checked that off my list today.

Day 41: Walgreens

I love me some Walgreens.

Day 37: Tree II

I brought my camera along on a stroll around Broadway Village, my old apartment complex, with my friend Megan. The thing I miss the most about that place is all the beautiful old trees. I hope next time I move I end up in a neighborhood with lots of trees.
