Day 224: Pippin V

I want to make a book called The Many Faces of Pippin.

Day 202: Pippin IV

This is the face Pippin makes when I'm making weird noises so that he will make faces at the camera. It's the dance we do.

Day 201: Snuggle

I decided my assignment for today was a self-portrait with no make-up, as a punishment for my foolishness on Sunday. This was the first time I played with my shutter release remote. Pippin, as always, was more than happy to join me for a little photo shoot.

Day 181: Pippin III

Something about the snow gets Pippin all riled up. It's adorable.

Day 149: Puppies

Tonight is our last night with the puppies before we have to take them to the kennel in the morning. They know something's up - they're being extra sweet and snuggly.

Day 59: Pippin II

I love this photo for so many reasons. The look on Pippin's face is absolutely priceless. Like I just told him something unbelievable and he's sizing me up. Also, the wide open aperture on my 50mm (1.8!) lens is just amazing. I love how only his eyes are in focus, and his nose and the background are blurred. I'm having so much fun experimenting with it.

Day 33: Pippin

Ok, I really need to start taking some pictures of something else, but this is just too stinkin' cute.

Day 32: Walk

Spent some more time photographing my favorite puppies again this morning. That's Opal, Trevor, and Pippin out on their walk. I have a feeling they will be showing up in many more pictures over the next few weeks.

Day 31: Traveler

Traveling home from Japan to Missouri today, I kind of had two shots at August 22. This is one of the only pictures I took in the first 24 hours of August 22 (Day 31), before I traveled back in time. I took this quickly on my phone because I was excited to finally find the delicious jasmine tea that I love, which had eluded me the entire trip.

Then, home. After 30 hours of traveling, it's still August 22. Before sinking into my bed, I had to try out my new camera on the puppies. Even with the low light and not sleeping for over a day, I like this one of Mom and Pippin.
