Day 365: Portland

Wow - how is it Day 365?? To celebrate the end of my project, Tim and I took a quick trip to Portland. We visited the zoo, had dinner, and walked around downtown as the sun set.

I also decided to post this last photo straight out of the camera, which I haven't done in a very long time.

Day 352: Jellyfish

We rounded out our anniversary trip with a visit to the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport.

Tim and I headed to Newport this weekend for our anniversary. I can't believe it's been a year!

Day 345: Unpacking

Behold, the first complete room we have unpacked! I am particularly proud of the bookshelf devoted entirely to my stemware, wine rack, and cookbooks.

My Okinawan shisa dogs found a home in front of my Chuck Palahniuk collection. It's nice to be able to unpack.

Day 340: Dam

On the last day of our road trip, I took some pictures of the dam behind our hotel along the Columbia River before we made our way to Eugene.

Made it to Oregon again! This was our view of Mt. Hood while driving along the Columbia River.

Day 325: Coast

This afternoon Tim and I decided to drive to the coast, which is just a little over an hour away from us. We stopped in Florence, then made our way up Highway 101 to the Heceta Head Lighthouse. Despite it being rainy, and a little too cold for the flip flops I was wearing, I loved every minute of it.

University of Oregon's campus is just beautiful - and so impossibly green!

Day 320: Window

This is my view from our new place when I wake up in the morning. Loving Eugene so far!

Day 319: Home

How else would we spend our first night in our new home but sipping an Oregon Pinot Noir?

Day 318: River

We finally made it into Oregon today. Once we got to the Columbia River, we followed it all the way to Portland. Tomorrow, Eugene!
