Day 351: Anniversary

Tim and I headed to Newport this weekend for our anniversary. I can't believe it's been a year!

Day 325: Coast

This afternoon Tim and I decided to drive to the coast, which is just a little over an hour away from us. We stopped in Florence, then made our way up Highway 101 to the Heceta Head Lighthouse. Despite it being rainy, and a little too cold for the flip flops I was wearing, I loved every minute of it.

Day 305: Cruising III

This was our view of the Gulf of Mexico from our favorite lounging spot. Just beautiful. (It's even better with a piña colada.)

Day 270: Sunabe

Stopped by the seawall today to pick up Tim's scuba certification. We took a short walk and I got to snap some photos. Such a cute place.

Day 254: Starfish

Tim had his first scuba certification class today at the Sunabe seawall, so I decided to tag along to get out of the house and enjoy the beautiful day. I had lots of time to write in my journal, read, look at the ocean, and as always, take a ridiculous number of photos. While I was hanging out at the ocean, the tide went out and I got to hop around the tide pools and play with starfish. I got majorly sunburned, but it was an awesome day.

Day 250: Sunset VI

We spent some time at the seawall this evening, and we got to watch the sun setting over the East China Sea. Beautiful.

139: Traveler II

Naha wins for prettiest airport view. This is what Tim and I got to look at while we had breakfast. I will miss the ocean.


36 hours later, when I finally got home, it was still Wednesday (time travel is weird). Trevor was happy to see me.

Day 136: Splash

Went to Cocoks today, and got some shots of the seawall after my awesome pedicure.

Day 127: Tim V

Tim and I spent some time at Araha Beach today, and he felt like showing off his Kindle.

Day 125: Ocean

I have been in the habit of neglecting my zoom lens lately, so I took it for a walk today.

Day 102: View

It's gotten a lot cooler here lately - I didn't even have to wait for my lens to un-fog today! That's a first. I love this view from right outside the BOQ on a clear day.

Day 93: Tim IV

Tim and I spent some time by the seawall before I got my pedicure today. I love this photo of him, not just because he's a stud, but because of the cool "photo within a photo" reflection of me in his sunglasses. You can bet there will be a picture of my pedicure on here tomorrow!

Day 92: Storm

This is the view from the top floor of our building. The ocean is close enough that you can actually see the waves breaking. We loved watching this huge storm cloud roll in.
