Day 357: Potter

On a whim, Tim and I decided to go to the opening night of Harry Potter. Not the midnight show...the 3am show. We figured since we've been staying up late most nights anyway, we may as well. It was everything I wanted it to be - go see it (and bring tissues).

Day 356: Campus II

Day 342: Aloe

Our new aloe plant - for all the sunburns we're expecting in the Pacific Northwest.

Day 334: Airport

Tim has finally given a name to these iPhone shots I take quickly when I realize I don't have a photo for the day - "desperation shots." Yep. I took this one out the window of the plane at Denver airport.

Day 327: Sandwich

I love how sometimes the dinners I'm not that excited about can end up being the best ones. Yum!

Day 324: Cube

Behold, the Target wine cube. Judge me if you will, but when I saw that our new Target sold wine in cube form, I just had to try it out. According to the box container, it's how the Europeans drink it, so clearly it's super classy. It's supposed to stay fresh for a month, so it saves me from drinking the rest of opening an entire bottle when I just want one glass (Tim doesn't drink white, you see). And you know what? It's not bad.

Day 312: Package

After yesterday's marathon of catching up on posts, I had nothing interesting to shoot today. This is the print on a package Tim got from Japan.

Our last night on the cruise, we all had one last frozen drink on the deck.

Day 302: Po'boy

First day of vacation! We woke up super early and 11 hours later we were in Metairie, Louisiana. For dinner I had a shrimp po'boy, the first of many on this trip.

Day 283: Dinner V

Tim's first few nights back in the states were spent in Springfield and St. Robert, getting processed out of the Marine Corps. So I took him out for dinner at one of St. Robert's top rated restaurants - Cracker Barrel (seriously, I looked on TripAdvisor). Welcome home to rural Missouri.

Day 282: Feet

Not quite as mesmerizing as my Okinawa pedicures, but I felt like dressing up my feet to go pick up Tim at the airport.

Day 281: Green

This past week has been a whirlwind - lots of days where I barely managed to snap a quick photo on the iPhone.

Day 275: Cargo

Saturday was a hell of a day, and I had to do it twice. Here is a shot from my seat on the C-5 cargo plane that took me to California. You can read about my adventures here.

After making it to San Francisco, I discovered that Tim had booked me a beautiful room with a view of the bay.

Day 273: Sunset VIII

Tim and I went to the 100 Yen Store tonight (exactly like the Dollar Store, but filled with delightful Japanese stuff) to use up our collection of yen coins. On the drive home, I had to try and get one last sunset shot on my iPhone.
