Crazy sky tonight! It went from orange to pink to night in about 10 minutes. That's our building in the bottom left.

Day 120: Scarf II

Behold, my latest creation! Finishing a crochet project is so satisfying, even if it's not perfect (they never are...).

Day 119: Hydrant

I took my camera with me today on a walk to the shoppette. My mission: to acquire cold medicine for Tim. Apparently Marines do get sick. Don't tell him I said that.

Day 118: Tub

Day 117: Mop

More library time today, and more time to take photos while I waited for Tim to pick me up. I love the gritty look of all the concrete.

Day 116: Phone

After what seemed like weeks of just picking up my camera and photographing whatever was around for my post, this week I promised myself I would go outside and try to take great photos again. This is at least a first step (in other words...out of the BOQ).

Day 115: Dew

See previous post for explanation of unrelenting laziness. I didn't even get up from my prime tv-watching location in the living room to take this shot.

Day 114: Candle

Tim and I are having the laziest weekend ever. So lazy, in fact, that I have almost forgotten to take a photo several times. So here's a candle.

Day 113: Fish

Tim and I went out for sushi again tonight, which led to an impromptu trip to Yogurtland in American Village, which led to an impromptu trip to the Doctor Fish. For ¥500 (about $6), you get to stick your feet into a pool of these fish for 5 minutes. They nibble all the dead skin off of your feet and produce the most maddening tickling sensation. It's incredibly strange and wonderful.

Day 112: Walk II

I got this shot of Tim walking as we were heading to the shop on a junk food run. I love long weekends. Happy Veterans Day.
